A lot of new televisions for sale nowadays are no longer using the cathode tube technology and so they typically doesn’t require degaussing at all since the issue is only present for the older generation of the device. So, if you are reading this then most probably you have an old TV set that requires degaussing and you are interested in fixing it the soonest possible time.

First of all, you will need a degaussing coil to do it. It usually costs around 30 bucks a piece and you only need one. So, if you are willing to buy one for your televisions for sale then go ahead. It is more practical if you can use it to a number of TV sets like for instance, in a store that sells TVs since for most of the time, you are going to use it only occasionally. To use the coil, you have to turn on the television, wave the coil on the screen back and forth until the color on certain parts of the screen returns to normal.

Or, if you have a computer monitor, one that still use the cathode tube technology, that has a degaussing feature then you can actually use it. All you have to do is to position the monitor on the front of the TV then activate the feature several times. You might need to do it for several times until you see some effect.

If you have friend in a repair shop then that might be a lot better, let them fix the televisions for sale for you at a lower fee.
